Another 3D Printer: The Hornet
Before starting I want to underline that this review is made from the perspective of a DIY 3D builder. I have build many 3D Printers for my self and my friends. So this is a new experience for me.
Hornet is a new printer from Artillery. This new player is on the field for everybody who wants to enter 3D printers world.
Artillery Hornet first impression is BumbleBee for me.
Hornet means "Wild Bee" by the way.

Packaging and Shipment
This is the first big carton box I received from China. I was surprised to see how well the package is. As a customer, this good packaging proves me that the producer take care of his job. Knows the value of the package content.

Assembly
This printer has 3 main part.
-
So it is really easy to assembly.
-
Artillery includes the all the tools you need in the package.
-
No need to have any advanced skills.
-
The bowden connection (PTFE Tube) includes the electrical connector to supply energy to the hotend. This looks great and clean. For a beginner, it may look great but for a professional it may cause some problems (unable to do "cold pull" )
-
3 cable sockets to connect before starting the printer.
